Work it Out

Working 5 days a week, 300 some odd days a year is too much. You work so that you can live a little bit, but it seems like here in America, we live to work. Does that make us the superpower we are today or would it have ended up the same if we worked 8 months out of the year and took 3 off...like Europe. Also, is that why some of Europe's stress levels are down thus making people not eat in a frenzy and getting fat like Americans. Or is another contributing factor why Europeans or so happy, is because in their 3 months off, they travel everywhere. Well, these things about 3 months off a year have really been eating at me. I mean, I love my job and its one of the better industries you can be in, but I think I'm going back to get my Master in Education. Teaching and coaching soccer sounds great and hopefully with a Master, an Athletic Director position will open up later on in life. We'll see...

How did it go down THAT road

For all of you reading this, I'm sure you've been through some sort of decently long relationship. Now whether that relationship turned into a marriage, life long partnership or just learning things about the opposite sex that you do/don't want is up in the air. For me, I learned a lot about myself. I learned that I am stronger than I thought as well as ready to move on. Did you find yourself that way? Its always the question whether or not you are ready to move on or do you just miss being in a relationship. That could mean regular sex, good conversations, laughing with someone, opening up to someone you feel comfortable with or whatever the reason...make sure the next relationship is because you want to be in it, not because you feel obligated to stay in it. I'm not saying that was my situation, but thinking about people and talking to friends, it's the general synopsis that I've taken away. So do you put up with things from a new girlfriend/boyfriend or do you jump ship right when you start seeing signs of something you swore off from a previous relationship. Some of these are just questions/thoughts that come across mine and others minds in day to day life. Do you have any insight on the topic?? I hope its better than mine if you do.

Over Paid??

For those of you who don't know, The Dallas Cowboys training camp is about 5 miles from my apartment. I went this past Sunday and realized how much "practice" does NOT matter in relation to Sundays. The practice went from 2pm - 4pm. By practice I mean hanging out on the field talking with fellow players for 30 minutes, than stretching for 30 minutes and then a couple routes and thats that. TO ran a route (with no one covering him) and caught a ball from Romo, the whole crowd went wild!!!! And we wonder why these over paid kids get caught up and think they are the best things ever invented. It's not there fault, its our fault for holding them on such a high pedestal that we give them no other way to think. Shame on US!
